  It’s dub v, throwin down the show recap for the May 8^th show.

  First up, B-Unit was all the way live in the building right off the back!

  “It’s like your early birthday.” B-Unit said.

  Grizz the Gossip Girl was on vacation this week….so you’ll just have to wait and here who filled in for her…

  We were so game to have a kick-ass show this week, because if you listened last week, that show was a desmadre (one helluva mess).

  SO FRESH THO, RIGHT?

  “NOW HOW THE HELL YOU DOIN BOY?!” – That was what Rawkee screamed into the phone line. He has been in the middle of his road-trip from Pucktaw, Louisiana to Sacramento, California.

  This week Rawkee called us from somewhere in Mexico near the border. He explained that he doesn’t know how the hell he got there, but he can’t get back in! this truly is a call you gotta listen to, and here are a few reasons why:

  1. “I met a guy…his name is kinda dirty…his name is Jorge. The last time I said ‘whore-hey,’ I got slapped!”

  2. Rawkee, Pucktaw’s classiest Redneck sang and played “Mis Grandes Chichis” to the tune of “La Cucaracha” live on-air.

  3. Rawkee’s COMING TO SACRAMENTO! Well, that’s the plan at least. He promised us he’d be here by our last show of the semester, May 22^nd. Stay tuned!

  Just then, B-Unit dropped the sports report!

Kayla Meeks, Sac State softball pitcher was accepted to the 2008 ESPN Magazine. Softball won the PCSC Championship last weekend with a 32-19 overall, and 14-6 league record.  Straight bosses!

  Hornet Baseball continues their 4 game road-trip against Nevada…See how they did at www.hornetsports.com This is just a TASTE of the Sports Report. B also throws down national sports news too…You gotta hit the podcast for the whole report! Ya te digo! Shit!

  “Did I really stand in an assembly-line to make 100 sandwiches for nothing?!?!” – B-Unit

Then came the GOSSIP REPORT – now Grizz was on vacation, and me and B-Unit were planning on covering it…but someone had other plans…

  B-Unit expressed some guidelines that Rooster needed to follow for the Gossip Report to flow smoothly:

  He rolled into the 916 promotin his latest production – the Thanks Martin Mixtape.

  Martin is a “beatmaker” who approached GoodWord with some beats and collaboration ideas…as it turned out, Martin said Good had to pay for the “services.”

  We don’t ACT that way here on the Sac State Sunset, and neither does Goodword.
