On this episode, I get into the interviewation with Sac State rapper Young Streetz.
Shout-out to my homie Abraham for callin in from Jalisco, Mexico! ya tu sabes!!!
B-Unit is still M.I.A., but for a good reason – she has an ultra-busy schedule this semester that requires her to attend other obligations with more importance.
Enough of the technical talk, please enjoy this podcast!
I super duper wholeheartedly apologize for the delay in posting the podcasts! This semester is gonna be one pain in the ass, as far as school goes! pero estamos hechandole galletas por todos lados!!!
In this episode, B-Unit had the night off as I kicked it with one of my main homies, Sergi, the Reggaeton Specialist.
We conversated about any and all things that relate to Reggaeton - Parties, perreo, cultura, todo!
By the way, this episode is about 75% in Spanish. If you're not fluent, consider this a chance to learn! Don't worry, I don't speak well in Spanish either haha
and that's how it all goes down! from here on out, it's Spring Semester, baby! check our calendar at myspace.com/doublevkssu to see what and WHO we have cookin' for you!
So over our winter break, B-Unit and I have both been super busy with our extra-curricular lives. We're both working full-time, B-Unit just got an internship with a local TV station that requires her to work 2AM - 10AM, and she's trying to graduate at the end of this Spring 2010 semester.
I'm right behind her, in terms of graduating, etc, but we'll discuss more about that later!
B-Unit could attend this episode, but she did call in during the second hour.
Rooster called in from Watsonville to talk about nothing - slightly entertaining nevertheless.
At 9PM Sacramento rapper Peso Harlem was in the studio for our Interviewation segment.
Super legit, humble, and gifted, Peso gave a raw interview about his upbringing, and the good and the bad about being in the rap game.
Yes, we had a few chuckles mixed in their as well - Peso's also got a solid character and sense of humor.
Shout-out to Peso! Spring Semester 2010 at Sac State officially starts January 25! We will have new artists, interviews, games, and funny stuff to keep preoccupied for one more semester. Until then....
Nos vemos, te cuidas, y te bañas,

...y esto es todo. We're off for the next two weeks for Christmas and New Years. But we would like to thank everyone for listening and being a part of the show this past year. FELIZ NAVIDAD!
we're holding down Deciembre right through the freeze, mi gente!
This week on the podcast, B-Unit and I talked about the awards she didn't win during the State Hornet's awards banquet, some sports talk in an official Sports Report, and a little bit of Christmas talk too...
Scarred IV Life, a Los Angeles rapper rapidly advancing in the underground Hip Hop scene, joined us in the studio for our 9PM Interviewation. We talked grass roots movements in Hip Hop, what exactly Hip Hop should be, and took some calls and joked around a bit.
We took some calls from listeners at home, and we also talked about his first album release, Always Changing, Never The Same. Driven by self-motivation and unlimited family support, Scarred IV Life has paid his dues and is ready to make his Debut into the greater Hip Hop music scene.
....and THAT'S serving you a real legit musical meal in the form of a podcast. Hope you all enjoy. Muchissimas gracias for all the listeners and constant support...B-Unit & I have FINALS next week, but we'll still be getting together for one last show for the year - sprinkled with local artists and various holiday music.
We're back from a week of Thanksgivingation, and about 3 weeks since I've seen dear old B-Unit Rossman.
In this podcast, we catch up on school, sports, and how messed up our studio is....we did the whole show on ONE wireless mic! We get down and have fun on this episode, pero ustedes ya saben esto!
at 9PM we welcomed in Sacramento rapper A.R.A.B. who has a new album, The Trojan Horse, coming out early next year. Let me personally take the time to say that A.R.A.B. is a legit individual, not to mention rapper. If you're with the underground hip hop movement, whether Sacramento based or not, I highly advise you check this cat out!
We talked about writing music, performing at shows, and even about Reggaeton! ha, imagine that, eh?
..and that's how we throw it down! big ups to DJ Los, SIVL, and The Blue Lamp for making one legit week. It'll continue into next week as we have on Scarred IV Life on December 10.
gracias por todo el apoyo - both on the air and off -- we appreciate the quiet but consistent listenership! ya tu sabation!!
In this week's episode, B-Unit was out on assignment covering the Lady Hornets' basketball game for Sac State, but she still hit us up to give us a recap and update from on location. www.HORNETSPORTS.com
My homie & aspiring photographer/videographer Dan Ward hopped in the hot seat for the first part of the show to talk about film, photography, and more...
The nine o'clock Interviewation was held down by none other than Chiyumba. She's a very talented singer, originally from Kenya, Africa. She is working on her first album, which will have R&B and Pop flavoring to it. Look for it in stores early next year. In the meantime, LISTEN to three of Chiyumba's songs here in the podcast!
Oh yeah, Chiyumba and I get down and sing some improvisational lines too - you gotta listen to this episode to hear the magic! haha!
The Light-Skinned Creole dropped by for the first part of the show to talk about his upcoming show and latest music. He's got talent, swagger, and jokes - so you'd be a fool not to check out that segment!
After B-Unit's Sports Report, B & I talked a little my budding R&B singing career....yes, you read correctly...Can I sing though? I sing in this episode, you just have to find out where....
At 9PM we welcomed in lady-rapper Dice, and her homegirl Nae. Nae sings on one of Dice's tracks --- ALL THREE are smooth, catchy, and ridiculously fun to dance to. So fun, that Dice taught us the dance she and Nae made for her song "Drop it, Keep it Sexy Tho" -- check out the video below!

This podcast features B-Unit's Sports Report LIVE from the men's basketball game, as well as a full-fledged report in the studio at 8:30. We caught up with Tattoo-talk, my quest for a second part-time job, and other interesting topics.... www.hornetsports.com
Sac State rapper and friend of the show, Duda, was in the studio at 9PM to kick it with us, talk about what he's been working on, and release three new tracks on our show: "Watchin' Me," "Famous," and "Keep Callin' Me." Duda's on the come-up and always has something insightful yet humble to say. We approve!
